About Kimmergeek.com

This is really just a personal blog about what I am doing, things I am working on, or stuff I need to remember. Nothing of great interest or importance to the general public, rather more just my usual rants. Also, I might post about personal improvement, productivity, stuff that really irritates me, or general observations.

Hopefully, if nothing else, you’ll find an amusement or two. If not, perhaps you’ll leave an amusing comment behind.

I am geek-type. I own software programming/web development/internet marketing company and I am pretty good at all 3 of those things. I like technically challenging things, I like a challenge, period.

I have some pretty weird hopes and dreams, and most of my hopes and dreams do come to pass. Up next is buying an awesome motorhome and traveling across the US, Canada, and maybe even Mexico. Might do that for a couple of years, then move on the Belize. That will all take a few years, from there perhaps I’ll get a chance to see a lot of the rest of the world.

Way back in 1990 I started trying to convince people of the virtues of telecommuting. The cool thing about what I do is that I can work from anywhere in the world, as long as I have an internet connection. So, seeing the world is an actual possibility for me.

I’d like to retire in a few years. That would be really nice since I am not near retirement age.

I love music. I mean, I am crazy about music. I love all kinds of music. My playlist might be Ottmar Liebart next to Prince right after Staind and then Kenny Chesney. You name it: Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Puddle of Mudd, NIN, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Oh I should just stop there, no use in all that - it would take forever. It’s easier to say what I don’t like.

I’m not too big on most rap or hip hop, and I don’t like opera. I don’t really like heart-thumping “Club” versions of songs too much, but that’s about it.

Well, maybe I’ll make this About page an ever-evolving project. I am sure there is more I will think of to say on this page in the future, but I’ll stop for now.
