Hurricean Ike Insurance Adjuster Finally Here Today

Hurricane Ike hit my city early on September 13th. Called in my insurance claim just as soon as I could see my house, September 19th. Claim was assigned to an adjuster on October 3rd. Today, October 30 - the adjuster finally came. 41 days.

Says he will submit for roof replacement, windows and baseboards recaulked all over the baseboards, wall seams, ceiling seams, fence replacement. Also solar screens in the back of the house. Says it will take 2 weeks for the insurance company to approve the claim and then we should hear something back so we can start making repairs.

We are on our way.
